Announcement from 31/01/2022

MARCOGAZ is a non-profit international association founded in 1968 and represents the European gas industry in all technical aspects of the entire value chain of the gas system. Its mission is to monitor and advise on technical regulation, standardisation and certification in Europe regarding the integrity and safety of pipe systems, equipment and rational energy use. MARCOGAZ represents the interests of national and European gas associations as well as the members of the individual gas companies distributed throughout Europe. The association has gained a good reputation over the past five decades, working closely with the gas industry, official bodies within the European Union and other influential partners.

The DVGW-EBI is engaged with MARCOGAZ through the leadership of the Standing Committee New Gases, which is working on the implementation of the European Commission's hydrogen strategy and developing technical expertise on gas transport, distribution systems, related equipment, gas storage and final consumption, as well as on the environment and safety.
