As a climate-friendly energy source of the future, hydrogen plays an important role in the German energy system. DVGW e.V. recognised this early on and is continuing to expand its hydrogen expertise in all areas. Since April 2022, the association has been pooling the scientific expertise of the institutes in the DVGW-Gas-Research-Network in the "H2 Competence Network of the German Energy Industry" in order to take hydrogen research to the next level of development.

Dr. Frank Graf is the new spokesperson for the H2 Competence Network since 1 September 2023.
